UCMR2 Regulations
When must UCMR2 be tested?
- January 2008-December 2010
- For ground water: Twice, 5 to 7 months apart
- For surface water: 4 times, every three months
Who must test for list 1*?
- All PWSs serving more than 10,000 people
- A representative sample of 800 PWSs serving 10,000 people or fewer.
Who must test for list 2*?
- All PWSs serving more than 100,000 people
- 320 selected PWSs serving 10,001-100,000 people
- 480 selected PWSs serving 10,000 or fewer people
Where must I test?
- Every entry point in the system must be sampled
- DSMRTs for List 2 nitrosamines
